Vintage Japanese 1973 Yamaha SA90 Sunburst w/ Ebony Board & HSC Japan
Here we’ve got a really cool vintage Japanese Yamaha SA90 from around 1973. It’s all original and has a great ‘59-style neck that feels super comfortable, paired with an ebony fingerboard and gold hardware.
It’s been well looked after—no breaks or repairs, and nothing nasty to mention. The neck is nice and straight, the truss rod works as it should, and there’s still plenty of life left in the frets.
It’s got that proper vintage hollowbody vibe, with some lovely grain showing through the finish. It’s a centre block construction and weighs in at about 4kg, so it feels solid without being over the top. The original Yamaha humbuckers sound great too—really balanced and clear.
Comes with the original Yamaha hardcase and a vintage Yamaha leather strap. Overall in really nice condition, with no major chips or dings. Just a very cool, high-end vintage hollowbody.
