Rare 2020 Fujigen Custom House FGN S5-Mine Sharp 5, Nobuhiro Mine Guyatone-Style
Up for sale is a rare 2020 FGN S5-Mine in 100% original condition. This beautiful instrument was built at the legendary Fujigen Omachi factory exclusively for the Fujigen Custom House. It is a modern, high-end continuation of the iconic 1960s Guyatone Sharp 5—originally designed for Japanese surf rock legend Nobuhiro Mine. It perfectly blends a retro, Mosrite-inspired German-carve body with ultra-premium modern playability. The weight is 3.9kg. The Neck has a slender fast C-profile with a dark ebony fretboard, star inlays, and practically zero fret wear. The hardware has flawless gold plating throughout, featuring genuine Sperzel locking tuners and a super responsive, smooth Wilkinson by Gotoh two-point vibrato bridge. It has a trio of single-coils with an awesome custom layout. The 3-way switch gives you Bridge+Middle, All Pickups, or Neck (with the middle pickup acting as a rich thickening agent). Plus, it features a factory push/push Tone pot to toggle the middle pickup completely on or off.It is in superb condition throughout and structurally perfect. The gold hardware has plenty of shine, the neck is straight with a responsive truss rod, and the pickup covers still feature their crisp, original N. Mine silkscreen signatures. There are just a few faint scuffs here & there on the pickguard and some light playwear, nothing harsh at all with no paint chips etc. Complete with all Japanese documentation, gold plated tremolo arm and original FGN padded softcase.
