Gibson Les Paul Standard Vintage Tobacco Teardrop Burst 2014 OHSC

Up for sale is this incredible looking Gibson Les Paul Standard from 2014. It's one of the nicest examples of this rare 120th anniversary model that I've come across. Most seem to have been sent to Japan for some reason. It has a solid and single-cut mahogany body, made of two pieces of grade A mahogany, which ensures the strong and fat tone Gibsons are renowned for. It has a comfortable rounded 50's profile neck, probably slightly thinner than a ’59. The unique controls are also a cool feature of this model. It boasts two volume controls and one master tone control, plus a mini-switch for turning a booster on and off with up to 15dB of variable output (adjustable via an internal trimmer). Each volume control also features a push-pull coil tap. It has superb sounding '57 Classic humbuckers. It once had robot tuners but these were thankfully replaced with Gibson Deluxe tuners at the Japanese guitar store when the guitar was sold new with the printing on the truss cover being a remnant. It also has a mother-of-pearl "Gibson" logo, a special limited edition "120th Anniversary" inlay at the 12th fret, multi-binding around the body perimeter, a gold silkscreen "Les Paul 99" logo on the pickguard, a Nashville-type TOM & die-cast tailpiece bridge, "Supreme Grip" speed knobs, Orange Drop capacitors, and a metal plate side jack. It's a good solid weight great weight at 4.4kg. I've tried to catch the top on it as best I can but it really is amazing and is what initially drew us to this guitar. The perfect fusion of classic vintage looks with fully modern functionality. It's in nice condition throughout with no paint chips etc. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no visible fret wear. A few bumps on the back and some finish checking lines in the lacquer. It comes complete with the original fitted tan hardcase and all case candy. A really special 2014 Gibson Les Paul Standard. 100% original condition.
