Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003 Yamano Order Honey Burst Flametop Non-Chambered
Up for grabs here is an absolutely gorgeous non-chambered Yamano Ordered Gibson Les Paul Standard from 2003. This is a superb example of a Yamano, with a beautiful Honey Burst flametop and deep top carve. Read up on these if you don’t already know… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they got to pick due to the volume they imported to Japan from the 90’s to the mid 2000’s (a time which also coincided with some of Gibson’s finest work). It is said they had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. This is one such guitar. It’s a stunning Standard. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant in 2003, which is just before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards (mid 2006) so yes, it’s non-chambered. It's a food weight at 4.3kg. It has a comfortable feeling 1960 profile neck carve. There is still plenty of life in the frets (never had a refret so still has its fret end binding), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. There is a nice relic feel to this one with finish checking and little bumps & scrapes etc over the top, all natural! There are a fee dull patches in the nitro when viewed at an angle and some yellowing of the clear coat on the headstock. It has a real aged custom shop feel to it! This Les Paul is well over 2 decades old now so please bear that in mind and do not expect to be Nr Mint! Nothing bad has ever happened to it with absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Comes with its original Gibson HSC with all latches working fine. Still has its specific Yamano warranty card with serial printed on. This is a rare chance to get your hands on a top quality Yamano hand-selected Les Paul Standard with a really exceptional top, much better than your average Standard. This one made it to Japan, it’s a true Yamano.
