Gibson Les Paul Classic 1998 Goldtop Bullion Gold w/ OHSC Yamano

Here is an absolutely beautiful vintage non-chambered Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop (Bullion Gold) from 1998. The 90’s classics are fantastic guitars and this is no exception. It’s true what they say about the 90’s classics, alongside how the play and sound, they are amazing looking guitars. It has absolutely no breaks or repairs. Being a Classic it has a 60’s neck profile carve and this one weighs in at 4.38kg. Lots of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. Has its original pickups which sound great. No problems structurally or electrically. It’s coming on for 3 decades old now so expect some light ageing - but it's all good! The binding has yellowed as has the pickguard and the metal hardware has take on a good looking vintage dull patina. There is some very cool, subtle natural finish checking in the nitrocellulose which also looks superb. There are some small patches of wear on the neck, smooth to play and adding to the whole vintage feel to this one. The Goldtop finish has darkened over the decades. It’s basically picked up all the good ageing with none of the bad stuff and is well along the road to being a real vintage stunner. Why anyone would choose a sterile new Les Paul over a beautiful old worn in Classic like this I will never understand. Complete with original 1990’s Tan Gibson HSC with pink lining and Yamano documentation. All latches fine and combi-lock is working with no problems on the case. A beautiful 1960 spec Gibson Les Paul from the great Classic years.
