Gibson Custom Shop Green Lemon 1959 Les Paul Standard Historic Reissue w/ OHSC

Here we have a very nice Gibson Custom Shop figured 1959 (R9) Burst Reissue from 2019. This R9 features a nice figured burst top displaying some vibrant maple flame and mineral streaking from top to bottom, with a dark rosewood board and a very nice patina developing over all the metal hardware. No issues at all, no breaks or repairs. Beautiful carve to the top and the weight is superlight at 3.89kg. Lovely ’59 profile neck carve and it plays beautifully with a good balance and acoustic resonance. It's a Les Paul that has been played and not locked away, so has some light natural playwear, which is no bad thing at all; it's developing a naturally earned lightly worn in look with little chips and nicks around the edges, see last pics. There is plenty of life in the frets, the truss rod has been checked and working fine and the neck is dead straight. It comes complete with its original tan Lifton historic hardshell case, which is in fine condition with all latches working fine. It also includes original Gibson Custom Shop certificate booklet and amongst other case candy. A beautiful '59 reissue. Don't miss it.
