Fender TN SPL J-Craft Japanese Domestic Thinline Telecaster Special MIJ Japan

Up for grabs is this very cool ‘72 Reissue Fender Thinline Telecaster in three tone sunburst finish. It was only sold exclusively in Japan as part of the J-Craft collection. They were made in very limited numbers & I don’t think these were ever exported outside of Japan. It was built between 2007-2010 (MIJ T-Serial). It features 3 pickups with 5-way selector switch, two USA Texas Specials and a dragster humbucker which makes for a seriously powerful combination with plenty of tone variables in a thinline body. Has a modern Tele neck with a 9.5 radius maple fingerboard and a lightweight thinline ash body (3.2kg). It’s structurally and electrically fine. Dead straight maple neck, truss rod turning and plenty of life in the frets. Clean with no notable big bumps or paint chips etc. Some really nice grain patterns all over the body. All in all a pretty special Fender 3-pup thinline Telecaster. Complete with Telecaster hardcase still with key.
