Fender Telecaster FujiGen-Era TLG-80 w/ Matching Headstock 1984-87 Black & Gold

£1,245.00Price

Here is a rare mid 1980’s Fender Telecaster all Black/Gold TLG-80 with matching headstock. It's an E-Serial MIJ which puts the build date between ‘84-’87 at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan. There is no neck pencil scribble on this one to give exact date. As is usually the case with these excellent 80’s MIJ Fenders, the fit and finish is the best you will see, it’s a brilliant player & has some killer vintage looks to match. Good Tele weight at 3.5kg. Alder body with black painted maple neck. Very resonant and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs or routing. Obviously plenty vintage wear going on, what looks like some fine touched in marks on the headstock, lifting of the clearcoat and general scratches and bumps. Complete with original period correct Fender Japan branded softcase, a bit tatty but zips working. Don't miss it.
