Fender Stratocaster Japan 1962 RI CIJ Era Three Tone Sunburst Relic w/ Hardcase

Very nice old Fender Japan 1962 Reissue Stratocaster in Three Tone Sunburst from the 2002-2004 period (CIJ P-Serial). This is a great looking Strat and being Japanese-built you can expect top quality fit and finish. It has an alder body with a medium c profile maple neck & a beautiful dark slab rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25 radius, Fender stamped steel saddles, 3-ply mint pickguard and great sounding USA Texas Special pickups. It has a relic look and feel which given the age of the guitar has probably been given a helping hand rather than been earned naturally. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. Weight 3.35kg. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. It a great looking old Stratocaster slowly aging into a real vintage looker. The finish has taken on a. note dull glazed look. All the plastics have turned off white and the maple neck and headstock have darkened over the decades. Complete with original tremolo arm & Stratocaster hardcase with key. A beautifully built ’62 RI Stratocaster in one of the classic Strat finishes!
