Fender Stratocaster 1972 Reissue FujiGen MIJ E-Serial 1984-87 Olympic White

Here is a cool old 1980’s Olympic White 1972 Reissue Fender Stratocaster built at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan. It’s an MIJ E-Serial dating from 1984-87 (no pencil date on neck heel). Like all these FujiGen ST72-70’s it has a great feeling Sen ash body. It's a real old warrior. The Oly White finish has aged and darkened to more of a dark cream/yellow over the decades, patchy and uneven just as it should be. All factory correct with 6 saddles, 2 string trees, F-Stamped 3 bolt neck plate, thinner neck with skunk stripe, large resonant 70’s headstock with bullet truss rod access, Gotoh tuners & and all black plastic hardware. Resonant unplugged and feels great to play, plenty of bite in the USA made single coils. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs, routing or modifications. It weighs in at 3.5kg. It has plenty of natural ageing all over with the darkened body/neck. There are scuffs & bumps here and there, with some paint chips as you’d expect. It’s getting hard to pick up these old FujiGen ST72-70s now, they are amazing guitars. Complete with original period correct Fender Japan softcase and replacement tremolo arm.
