Fender Stratocaster 1962 Reissue FujiGen CIJ N-Serial Sunburst USA Pickups Japan
Top of the line old Fender 1962 (ST62-TX) Reissue Stratocaster in three tone sunburst finish. It’s a Fender Japan CIJ P-Serial from 1999. It’s a very cool old ’62 RI Strat. It has an alder body with a great feeling maple neck, 7.25 radius rosewood fingerboard and superb sounding USA Texas Special pickups. The saddles are Fender stamped. All the plastics have yellowed and the metal hardware has taken on a nice dull patina over. This guitar looks awesome. Nothing bad has ever happened to it. Just light to moderate playwear commensurate with age, a few little nicks here & there. The medium C profile neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Nicely balanced with a great action and structurally/electrically sound. Nice looking maple grain all over the neck & headstock. No breaks or repairs. No modifications save for a Fender Japan red tort pick guard which looks very cool. The original owner left the factory Texas Special sticker on the neck plate to remind themselves what pickups were in the guitar. It was originally on the protective pickguard film and can be easily removed form the neck plate if you wish, but we have left it on. Weight is 3.5kg. Complete with Stratocaster hardcase, key and trem arm. A wonderful old '62 RI Fender Japan Strat.
