Fender Mustang 1969 Reissue Q-Serial CIJ 2002-04 Rare Antigua Burst
You are looking at a very cool Fender Japan ’69 RI Mustang in rare factory finished Antigua Burst. It’s from a limited Fender Japan run in this finish back in 2002 (CIJ Q-Serial). It has never been reissued. Meticulous attention to detail, fit and finish as you’d expect from a Japanese crafted Fender. What’s more it’s in as beautiful condition as you will ever see for one of these rare guitars. No problems at all, straight neck, truss rod fine, no wear visible in the frets. No probs whatsoever either electrically or structurally. Has has a series/ parallel switch added which essentially turns both single-coil pickups into one giant humbucker. Flipping this switch will gives the Mustang a massive boost in output, thicker mids, and a much punchier overdrive tone. It's a great mod! All in all a beautifully built Mustang from Fender Japan in very rare finish. Complete with original tremolo arm and original period correct Fender Japan soft case (all zips miraculously working for this period softcase - if you know you know)
