Fender Japan Vintage Mid 80's Piano Black 1962 Reissue Precision Bass MIJ

Fender Japan Vintage Mid 80's Piano Black 1962 Reissue Precision Bass MIJ

£1,045.00Price

Here is beautiful looking 1980's Fender Japan P-Bass! It's a Fender MIJ 1962 reissue in the always cool looking Piano Black. It's an MIJ E-Serial which puts the build date from 1984-1987. It's a Fender Japan (not cheaper Mexican). Built at the legendary FujiGen Gakki. All original, complete with its smooth sounding PB Single pups, original FujiGen 3-ply white pickguard and stamped Fender neckplate. It has a beautiful dark and dense rosewood fingerboard. Neck straight, truss rod working, plenty of life in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. This one is exceptionally clean for an E-Serial MIJ. Whenever we see these rare basses they are pretty beat up. This has obviously has picked up some playwear over its four decades but is very clean. Nothing bad has ever happened to it. There have been no mods, no routing and no repairs etc. The weight is 4.22kg. Complete with softcase. A very cool vintage mid 1980s P-bass in a pretty cool colour.
