Here is cool old vintage Japanese MIJ J-serial Fender 1962 Reissue Precision Bass in naturally aged classic Three Tone Sunburst. It is from the 1989-1990 with the scarce MIJ J Serial prefix. These early FujiGen built P-basses are incredibly sought-after for good reason, they are perfectly constructed machines! The three tone sunburst is ageing well on this one and is offset with the classic FujiGen 3 ply red tort pickguard. It's easy to play with punchy sounding original pups. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets. Weight is almost dead on 4kg. It’s coming on for 40-years old now so obviously not mint, it has the associated wear you’d expect to see on such an old bass with edge scuffing and some worn in part chips on the bottom etc. The vol/tone knobs, tuners and neck plate are all displaying nice vintage patina and are a dull grey. One tenet is slightly bent as per usual and functions fine. No electrical or structural issues at all. A beautifully crafted vintage Japanese Fender warrior with plenty of mojo. Complete with softcase.
