Up for grabs is this beautiful all original Japanese non-export natural ash Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster Micawber from 1993-94 (N-Serial MIJ). These early FujiGen white ash Micawbers were never exported from Japan. This has all the good stuff with its '52 black single-ply scratchplate, Fender stamped neck plate & Gotoh tuners. The white ash Fujigen used for these is always pretty heavy, but this one comes up a bit tighter than usual at 3.7kg. It has its awesome sounding factory fitted Dragster in the neck and what looks like a traditional TL vintage in the bridge (although we are not certain about the bridge pup). Most importantly they are well balanced individually and sound great together. It's structurally and electrically fine. The maple neck is dead straight, truss rod turning and plenty of life in the frets. No mods or non-factory routing etc.  It is over three decades old now does have naturally earned vintage wear. The metal hardware has a nice dull patina all over it. The body has some finish wear and age related dimples, scuffing and one or two small nicks, but no big ugly paint chips. A beautifully crafted vintage mojo-laden Japanese Fender Micawber. Comes with Telecaster hardcase & key.
