Fender Japan Telecaster 1962 RI Custom RI MIJ 2017 Vintage White

Fender Japan Telecaster 1962 RI Custom RI MIJ 2017 Vintage White

£1,145.00Price

Top of the line 1962 fully bound Reissue Custom Telecaster from Fender Japan (not Mexican). Vintage White is one of the harder colours to find on ’62 Teles outside of Japan as it was a domestic finish only. It’s an MIJ JD-Serial from 2017 with a quality lightweight alder body, 3-ply black pickguard, full black body binding & 3 saddles. This one has had one or two nice mods. The stock Japanese pickups have been exchanged with a humbucker in the bridge and single coil on the neck. The backplate and knobs have also been switched at some point over the years. It has a creat looking and feeling dark & dense slab rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. This one really resonates too when unplugged. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. It does have a little playwear, with some nicks bumps and scuffs here & there. Complete with Fender branded softcase A very cool Fender MIJ ’62 reissue VWH Custom Telecaster.
