Fender Japan Telecaster 1952 Keith Richards 'Micawber' Reissue 2010 Aged Natural

For sale is this non-export natural ash Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster Micawber. It’s an MIJ U-Serial dating from the 2010-11 period. This Tele was meticulously crafted at Dyna Gakki in Japan, it's not a Mexican Fender. These were never exported from Japan. Constructed from a beautifully grained resonant ash which has nicely age darkened over the last 16 years. The ash grain on this is very nice indeed, and the maple used for the U profile neck, headstock & fingerboard (7.25 radius) is also top quality. Fender Japan didn't build too many of these, preferring to stick with the classic single coil '52 design. These older MIJ built Micawbers are becoming tricky to find nowadays. It has all the good stuff and is 100% factory correct with its '52 black single-ply scratchplate, 6 solid saddles, quality machined bridge, ‘F’ stamped neck plate & Gotoh tuners. It’s got its awesome sounding factory fitted USA Dragster in the neck and traditional TL vintage in the bridge. It plays beautifully with of tele twang and crunch when needed.  The single coil and humbucker are very well balanced. It is structurally and electrically fine with the maple neck is dead straight, truss rod turning and plenty of life in the frets. No mods or non factory routing etc. Very clean condition throughout. No paint chips etc. Just light playwear. Weight is superb at 3.9kg. Comes with Telecaster hardcase with key.
