Fender Japan Telecaster 1952 Keith Richards 'Micawber' Reissue 2004 Natural Ash

For sale here we have a Fender Japan non-export natural ash Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster Micawber. This Tele was built at Dyna Gakki in Japan, it's not a Mexican Fender. These were never exported from Japan. Constructed from a beautifully grained resonant ash which is heading towards butterscotch blonde. The ash grain on this is good, and the maple used for the neck, headstock & fingerboard (7.25 radius) is also top quality. Fender Japan didn't build too many of these, preferring to stick with the classic single coil '52 design. It has all the good stuff and looks factory correct with its '52 black single-ply scratchplate, 6 solid saddles, quality machined bridge, ‘F’ stamped neck plate & Gotoh tuners. It’s got a superb sounding factory fitted USA Dragster in the neck and TL vintage single coil in the bridge. It’s a CIJ R-Serial (2004). It is structurally and electrically fine with the maple neck is dead straight, truss rod turning and plenty of life in the frets. No mods or non factory routing etc. Nice condition with just some playwear commensurate with age, a few little dimples in the body with some light blemishes here & there. It's very clean overall. It's also a real featherweight for a Japanese ash bodied Micawber at 3.27kg, what possibly the lightest example we have ever had. Complete with Telecaster hardcase & key. If you are looking for a beautifully crafted vintage looking/feeling Fender Micawber grab this one, you wont be disappointed, it's the best example you'll find outside of the USA Custom Shop.
