Fender Japan Mustang Bass 1997 Ocean Turquoise Metallic Comp with Matching HS
Fender Japan Mustang Bass, it’s not Mexican. It is a CIJ O-Serial from the 1997-2000 period. It has the excellent fit & finish you’d expect & all the good stuff including an alder body, nice dark streaked rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, white 3-ply perloid pickguard, Duncan designed MB Pups, Vintage White (almost yellow) competition stripes and of course, a matching headstock. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets & no mods. Weight 3.71kg. Some nice maple grain on the amber tinted neck and headstock. Structurally and electrically sound, no issues whatsoever. Good condition for the year. Has a few small bumps & scuffs as you’d expect but otherwise very clean with no big paint chips etc. Complete with cool padded Japanese ESP bass bag. A rare one.
