Fender Japan Albert Collins x TLAC 950 Custom Partscaster MIJ

Here is a cool vintage mid 1990s Fender Japan Custom Telecaster. It has been refinished and modded and has some pretty cool mojo going on. The body old Fender Japan '66 RI Albert Collins ash custom body which has been stripped back of the poly and refinished in nitrocellulose. The neck is from a Fender Japan TLAC-950 with a rosewood board and the 1970's Fender logo. The pickups are a Texas Special in the bridge position and a factory fitted Dragster in the neck position. It has an A - stamped bridge, F stamped neck plate and the saddles look like they've been replaced. The body looks like is shown a little deterioration around the neck pocket in the past and has been built-up and refinished in clear resin. It is strong and sturdy. Sounds superb too! A beautiful resonant guitar to play and pretty unique Japanese Fender partscaster! Complete with vintage Japanese leatherette softcase.
