Fender Japan 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass Rare Factory Vintage White CIJ N-Serial 1999

Here we have a cool old ’62 RI Fender Jazz Bass in factory Vintage White finish. Please note that this is a quality crafted Japanese Fender, not a cheaper Mexican model. It’s pretty hard to find Fender Japan Jazz Basses in this colour, most are 3 tone sunbursts from this period. It’s a Fender Japan CIJ N-Serial. We don’t get many N-serials with a CIJ prefix so I’m gonna estimate the build date at around the beginning of the CIJ period (late 90's) as it could be an old left over Fujigen N-serial MIJ with the CIJ prefix added when production had shifted away from FujiGen briefly to Tokai. I'd say the condition is commensurate with that period. It has an alder body, maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. It has really nice 3-ply red tort pickguard. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications, it’s all factory stock. There is plenty of vintage playwear earned over the decades. If you like shiny new guitars she aint for you. There is scuffing and bumps around the edges and some paint chips around the neck pocket. It weighs in at 4.2kg. Complete with heavy duty padded softcase. A very cool old Japanese Jazz bass in a killer factory finish.
