Fender Grunge Era 1969 Reissue Mustang MIJ Sonic Blue 1993 with Case and Docs

Here is beautiful fully complete example of FujiGen built '69 Reissue Fender Mustang in factory Sonic Blue from the golden years of Fender Japan. It is a very old Grunge-Era Mustang dating back to 1993-94 (MIJ N-Serial). We don’t get many from this period, most Japanese Fender Mustangs will be from the later post Kurt CIJ period built at Dyna. This one is a bit special with perfect ageing and all it's original Fender Japan documentation. It's also absolute favourite Mustang finish ;) The clear coat has yellowed over the years to give the sonic blue it more of a seafoam green look, which always looks amazing. This really is a killer looking guitar. Like all MIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured body, beautiful looking rosewood 7.25 radius fingerboard, button tuners, 3-ply red tort pickguard and 'F' stamped neckplate. It plays like a dream too, very resonant with plenty of Mustang attitude. There are no mods, breaks or repairs. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Has some cool real world ageing going on with al the white plastics showing yellowing and the metal hardware with that dull grey finish. Nothing shiny about this guitar! It is complete with it's original period correct Fender Japan softcase, tremolo arm, hangtags, booklet and expired Japanese warranty card with the guitar's individual printed serial number (great for future resale value). Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A killer 1969 vintage specification Mustang in the best colour.
