Fender 1962 Fully Bound Custom Reissue Candy Apple Red 2010 MIJ Japan

Up for grabs is this really nice, fully bound 1962 Custom Reissue Telecaster from Fender Japan. Made in 2010 (MIJ U-Serial), this is Fender Japan’s top-of-the-line Telecaster (TL62B), and the factory Candy Apple Red finish always looks great on these models. It features a lightweight alder body with a 3-ply cream pickguard, full cream body binding, and 3 brass saddles.Fender used some really nice tonewoods for this one. It has a lavish, dark-streaked rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius. The amber-tinted maple neck has been worn down to a smooth satin finish, and the headstock showcases a beautiful maple grain pattern. It definitely looks the part. Sonically, the TL vintage pickups sound excellent—offering plenty of powerful bite and that classic Tele twang. Aside from its looks, it is a great player and very resonant unplugged.Structurally and electrically, the guitar is completely sound. The neck is dead straight, the truss rod functions perfectly, and there is plenty of life left in the frets. It has no issues, breaks, repairs, or modifications, remaining completely factory stock. It sits at a very comfortable alder Tele weight of 3.39kg. The binding is just starting to age into a lovely, natural cream, which looks fantastic against the Candy Apple Red. It shows only very light playwear, including minor scuffing on the body and a small paint nick on the headstock. Overall, it is in great condition and has a fantastic vibe. It comes complete with a thick padded Fender-branded soft case. This is a very nice '62 RI Fender MIJ Custom Telecaster in a cool finish!
