Custom Order Fender 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass Walnut w/ Matching Headstock 2010 MIJ

Here is a very rare MIJ custom order Fender Japan 1962 Reissue Jazz Bass in a stunning Walnut finish with matching headstock. It is an MIJ T-serial, built to a very high standard by Fender Japan (not Mexico) around the 2007-2009 period. This beautiful bass would have been a one-off domestic special order. This finish was not used as a production finish on Jazz Basses by Fender Japan,. It has all the top of the line specs with an ash body, dark slab Indian rosewood bound neck with a matching headstock. It has a single ply black pickguard, 4-bolt neck plate and all black metal hardware. Neck is straight, truss rod working, plenty of life in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound, absolutely no repairs or breaks. Weight is very light at 3.7kg. It has some blemishes with bumps and scuffs so is not mint, but nothing harsh has happened to it. A very cool looking bass and like all the rarer MIJ stuff; a solid investment down the line.
