Vintage 1995 Gibson ES 335 Dot Reissue Tobacco Sunburst Yamano Export w/ Docs

For sale we have this stunning vintage 1995 tobacco sunburst Gibson ES 335 Dot Yamano Export. It’s fully original just as it came out of Gibson’s Nashville factory back in 1995. Build date is October 22nd 1995. This is a very nice example of a Yamano export, who’s reps it is said secured many of the greatest 335s of the 90’s & 2000’s and took them to Japan for retail. It’s turning into a real vintage looker too with lovely natural darkening of the nitro and yellowing of the binding, with all the metal hardware lightly ageing to just take off that new guitar shine. It has some beautiful maple flame and grain which really pops when angled. It’s turning into a real vintage looker. It’s a silky smooth player and the original PAFs sound immense. The condition is great all over with no big nasty dings, in fact no big notable blemishes anywhere. You get all the gentle good-looking ageing with none of the ugly stuff. There have been no breaks or repairs. It’s all original with no modifications. Neck is dead straight truss rod checked and functioning fine, plenty of life left in the frets, it’s not been refretted so still has its fret-end binding. Factory fitted grovers have also taken on a lovely dull grey patina and are working fine. Plays and sounds great with a comfortable ’59 profile neck. It’s nicely balanced & weighs in at a superb 3.9kg (most go over 4kg). As mentioned above it is in fine condition for a mid 90’s 335, no big paint chips or bug dings, just light playwear, some discolouration and light scuffing of the binding where its been shown off in a stand at some point in its life.  It is complete with its original Yamano certificate (with serial number printed on), Yamano booklet and Japanese case instructions. Comes with original period correct tan, pink-lined Gibson 335 OHSC, still with pink silk shroud firmly attached . Case is functioning fine, latches & combi working.
