Vintage 1985 Fender Japan FujiGen 1972 RI Telecaster MIJ E-Serial MIJ w/ HSC

Here is a beautiful 40 year old 1972 Reissue Telecaster from Fender Japan. Built at the renowned FujiGen factory in Japan. It’s a very old MIJ E-Serial from 1985 (neck dated under the clear coat on the neck heel). Not only is it one of the oldest '72 RI Teles we've ever had, it is also very clean for its age. It has a beautiful Sen ash body with maple neck and 7.25 radius maple fingerboard. All factory correct with 3 saddles, 3-ply pickguard, double string trees, Gotoh tuners & seated neck plate etc. Really resonant due to the old ash and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite with the TL vintage pickups. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Great solid weight at 3.8kg. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs, routing or modifications. It has some light natural ageing all over, some scuffing and dings with a couple well worn-in paint nicks etc. Nothing harsh at all, just good looking light ageing. Complete with Telecaster hardcase and key. A beautiful old '72 RI Fender MIJ Telecaster.
