Vintage 1980 Tokai Japanese LS-50 Reborn Old Single Cutaway Aged Cherry Sunburst

You are looking at an original 1980 LS-50 Tokai Reborn Old Les Paul Standard. Please read up about these legendary guitars to see what all the fuss is about. This is one of the finest examples of an LS-50 you will find. Just picking this thing up and playing acoustically you can instantly feel the resonance of the lightweight old wood. The ‘Reborn Old’ was only made in the latter half of 1980 as the transition model from ‘Reborn’ to ‘Loverock’. It’s a beautiful aged 3 piece cherry burst top that has almost aged to a honeyburst. It has a perfect feeling 1959 profile neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It has the correct '50' stamp in the rosewood of the last fret. Complete with fitted hardcase.  The guitar is in perfect working order. No structural or electrical issues. Weight is 4kg. Truss rod fine, neck dead straight and a little wear but plenty of life left in the frets. Some lovely ageing going on. The binding is tight, nicely yellowed with no separation from the body. The plastics have yellow with age and the metal hardware has an aged patina all over. There are a few bumps and dings as you'd expect from 46 years old but nothing harsh has happened to it. No breaks, repairs or mods. It doesn’t have the pickguard.
