Tokai Vintage 1995 Love Rock LS-65 Figured Burst (Open Book Headstock) MIJ Japan

Here is a really special 1995 Japanese Tokai LS-65 Love Rock Les Paul Standard. This one is a beauty with a really stunning quilted Honeyburst top. Lots of movement on the thick maple quiltt. We talk a lot about how good Gibson Les Pauls from the 90's were, Tokai were right up there with them. Traditionally built with mahogany back and neck and-2 piece maple top. You can feel the lovely dry old resonant old wood as soon as you pick it up and hit a chord. Mahogany neck has a solid '59 profile carve. Straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weighs in at a non-chambered 4.6kg. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. It’s picked up plenty of playwear over the decades as it should have. Think scuffs, chips, edge wear, scratches on the back etc. Absolutely no history of breaks or repairs. The little white specs you see on the close-ups are just dust. Comes complete with fitted hardcase with key. A beautifully built 90’s vintage Tokai Les Paul.
