Stunning vintage 1978 Greco SA900 Tobacco Burst. Hand built at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan. This is a high-end Japanese ES-335 beauty with a dark maple flamed matched top and 3 piece maple set neck with long tenon. A lovely dark rosewood fingerboard with fret edge binding (nibs). Pickups great sounding DiMarzio humbuckers. Comfortable 1960's profile neck. It has some vintage ageing all over the plastics with the white binding yellowing the metal hardware naturally tarnished giving it a cool dull grey vintage vibe. You can feel the resonant old growth wood as soon as you start playing. It feels solid and plays like a good old vintage 335 should. Straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks or repairs anywhere. Weight is 3.6kg. Plenty of ageing but nothing bad has ever happened to it, no breaks or repairs etc. Some of the usual tiny binding cracks etc. All the usual vintage 335 stuff basically. A very cool SA900’s. Complete with original blue lined hardcase. Latches rusty but working & in excellent condition.
