Gibson Vintage 1989 Les Paul Custom Ebony Black Beauty w/ Original HSC

Time to stop thinking about the latest Gibson Kirk Hammett '89 Custom reissue and get your hands on the actual real guitar for much less (...yeah, I don't get it either). You are looking at a very cool vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty from 1989. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant. Of course being from ‘89 it has an Ebony fingerboard, not Richlite as Gibson have used lately on their customs. It has a good solid ‘59 neck carve and weighs in at 4.3kg. Complete with great sounding Gibson PAF humbuckers, plenty of life left in the frets (never been refretted, still has nibs), the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Obviously no breaks or repairs in its history. It's got plenty of real world mojo going on. The binding has naturally aged to a deep yellow over the decades, which always looks killer on an old black beauty. There is some lacquer checking on the body/neck and lacquer wear on the neck. It comes complete with original Gibson USA chainsaw case which still has it's badge on and all latches working.  I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story, this is a very cool vintage Les Paul Custom.
