Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus Figured Honeyburst Flame Top 2011 w/ OHSC

Absolutely gorgeous USA Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus bookmatched Honeyburst Flametop from 2011. A superb top on this one which we had hand-selected and imported from Japan. Gibson could have quite happily used these 2 slabs of maple for a ’59 custom shop historic (R9). The nitrocellulose finish is so thin on this you can see the ridges of the maple flame when angled towards light. It is a very easy guitar to play with a resonant body and nice easy action. It also has a comfortable '59 profile neck and it's a good weight at 3.7kg. I've tried to catch the flame on it as best I can, but it really is nice and is what initially drew me to this guitar, it was made during the same year as the original Slash AFD and bears a striking resemblance to these guitars. The condition is very good for a 15 year old Les Paul. There are no big blemishes. A pickguard was never fitted so no holes (no pickguard included). There are absolutely no breaks or repairs. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no obvious fret wear. The Burstbucker Pros on this sound superb. Comes complete with docs and original Gibson HSC, which is in also in great condition. A really nice Les Paul Standard in wonderful condition, and even better if you like them with highly figured flame!
