Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway Japanese Yamano Tiger Eye Flame 2001

Up for grabs is this super rare 2001 USA Gibson Les Paul Standard Tiger Eye Flame Double Cut which was made for Japan only. There are only a handful out there. It is a Yamano order which was exported from Japan and comes with its original Japanese Yamano booklet. It is a stunning looking les Paul, and very playable. It has a nitro finish over highly figured maple top with all gold hardware and solid mahogany body with a rosewood fingerboard. Great feeling mahogany neck with long neck tenon, which which has a thinner 60's profile carve, it feels really nice to play. The original stock 490/498's sound great. No visible wear to the frets. Neck is dead straight and truss rod fine. A little play wear with a few little dings here & there but nothing big or nasty looking. The gold plating on the metal hardware is beginning to smoothly wear back to nickel, especially on the Grovers. Complete with original Gibson hardcase and Japanese Yamano booklet. A fantastic player and nice investment piece. You wont see many more of these come up for sale.
