Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1960 Historic Reissue Electric Guitar Lemon Burst

This is a truly stunning Yamano-ordered 1960 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard reissue—without question the best-looking R0 we’ve ever had through the doors at Gas Station Guitars.
Yamano representatives travelled to the U.S. to personally select these instruments before bringing them back to Japan, and this one is a standout example. Finished in a beautifully figured lemon burst, it features a two-piece AA figured maple top with striking wide flame and plenty of visible mineral grain. The nitrocellulose finish has naturally mellowed into that soft, lightly glazed look usually only seen with age or a factory VOS treatment—it’s an exceptional top by any standard.
It’s not just about looks either—this is a superb player. The guitar remains completely original, fitted with its factory Burst Buckers, and weighs a comfortable 4kg, which is nicely light for an R0. There are no issues whatsoever—no breaks, repairs, or modifications. It shows only light, honest playwear, with a pleasing patina across the hardware that gives it a beautifully aged character. Overall, it easily qualifies as excellent condition. Any small white specks visible in the photos are simply case dust.
It comes complete with the original Custom Shop Lifton hard shell case, also in great condition, along with all case candy except for the Custom Shop certificate, which has been lost.
