There is some real magic locked up in this one. This is a stunning looking Gibson Custom Shop VOS 1954 Single Pick-up Les Paul Gold Top from 2003. This was made for the Japanese domestic market so there are very few of these around. It looks simply gorgeous with the single P-90 and is also one of the best sounding & playing examples of a ’54 Les I can remember having in the shop. It is in all original condition with no mods, repairs or breaks. Complete with original black Custom Shop case but no other case candy. Weight is nice and light at 4kg. Big thick '54 neck as you want on one of these. The single P-90 is an absolute belter; very aggressive sounding but can also able to be dialled back for warmer jazzy tones when needed. The finish is lovely on this one, the natural vintage patina looks just right. It has been played a little, with the odd little well worn in nick but nothing big or obvious. I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story here. Don’t miss this one - it's of the most unique ’54s we've ever had in the GSG shop. Plays beautifully and has looks to die for.
