Fender Traditional Late 60s Jazzmaster Japan Exclusive FSR Natural Ash w/ Blocks
Up for grabs is this exceptional looking Fender Japan late '60s FSR Jazzmaster in natural ash finish. It’s a Japanese Fender, not Mexican, so has fantastic build quality coupled with both vintage & modern specs. This Jazzmaster was an FSR (Factory Special Run) model for a single dealer in Japan, produced in extremely small quantities and not otherwise available for retail outside of Japan. It has wonderful looking streaked a rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius). It also has a features consistent with the 1966 model, including pearloid block inlays and binding on the rosewood fretboard, witchhat knobs, and a vintage-correct "transitional" Fender logo. Stunning naturally grained finish with an ash body & 3-ply pickguard. Very resonant and feels great to play. It has great sounding redesigned vintage-style pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots and a vintage-style floating tremolo with barrel bridge. Weight is 4.1kg. No notable blemishes and still has protective film covering the pickguard and pick-up covers. Complete with tremolo arm, Fender branded softcase and all fender Japan docs. A stunning looking & great playing MIJ Jazzmaster. Made in very limited numbers in Japan only. In near mint condition with no visible flaws. All pictures are of actual guitar.
