Fender TL-62B-TX Telecaster Custom Reissue MIJ 2004 Ocean Turquoise Metallic
An absolutely stunning guitar here. This a top of the line factory Ocean Turquoise Metallic Fender 62' RI custom Telecaster (TL62B-100B TX). It’s a lovely MIJ JD-Serial (2014). This was built by Fender Japan and not Mexican made. OTM was a domestic only finish so you don’t often see these outside of Japan Beautiful double bound, alder body with factory fitted B-5 Bridge & Fender Bigsby. Very dark and dense Indian rosewood slab fingerboard with 7.25 radius, maple neck showing some rare natural maple flame, jumbo frets & a mint 3-ply pickguard. The TL Special pickups are factory fitted and sound immense. This is as good as it gets for Fender Japan Telecasters. It is the cleanest and most complete example of this rare guitar we have ever had at GSG. It could well be the best one left out there. No issues electrically or structurally. Neck fine, frets fine, truss rod fine. No notable big blemishes. Weight is excellent for an alder bodied bigsby-equipped Tele at 3.9kg. No big dings or paint chips, just evidence of very light playwear. It looks and plays fantastic. Complete with Telecaster hardcase (with key), Japanese hangtag, booklet and expired warranty card which like the hangtag has the guitar's individual serial number printed on. A really nice looking and playing '62 Custom Tele.
