Fender Mustang 1973 RI Competiton Edition Fiesta Red w/ Matching Headstock MIJ
Here is a really scarce vintage specification Fender Japan '73 Reissue Competition edition Mustang. It’s a JD-Serial MIJ (2012) in scarce factory Fiesta Red finish with matching headstock and vintage white competition stripes. We don’t see many in this finish from Fender Japan, most you will see will be CAR or OCAR. Awesome vintage specs with Poplar body, 7.25 radius rosewood fretboard, white button tuners & 3-ply pearl pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks, repairs or routing. Structurally and electrically fine. Weight 3.2kg. Very clean condition with non big notable blemishes. Complete with gig-bag and replacement threaded 5mm trem-arm (just drops in and tightens as normal). Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A beautiful 1973 vintage specification reissue Mustang.
We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special. All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
