Fender Japan Mustang '65 Reissue Slab Body Reissue CIJ 2005 Dakota Red

Here is a very scarce '65 Reissue CIJ S-Serial (2005-06) Fender Japan Mustang in factory Dakota Red. These ’65 RI Dakota Red 65s were for the Japanese domestic market only and only built by Fender Japan for a very short time. They don’t come up often and this one is a beauty in time-warp condition. It is the cleanest example we have ever had of a Dakota Red '65. It's 2 decades old now but looks like could have come off a guitar showroom floor yesterday.  Like all MIJ/CIJ MG65s it’s true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '65 slab body, 3-ply white perloid pickguard (still with protective film on), 7.25 radius rosewood fingerboard and white button tuners. No big notable blemishes. No repairs, routing or damage. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets. No issues structurally or electrically. Weight 3.5kg. Complete with original period correct Fender branded softcase (one zip puller missing), Fender Japan booklet and original black tipped tremolo arm. A superb vintage specification CIJ Mustang in a very cool colour.
