Fender Japan Mustang 1977 RI Rare Custom Order Shell Pink Competition MIJ Japan

Here we have a very rare specification Fender Japan 1977 RI Mustang in factory Shell Pink Competition. It was likely a one-off Fender Japan custom order. It has an alder body with maple neck and fingerboard. It was built in 2013 at Dyna Gakki for Fender. We’ve had hundreds of rare Fender Japan offsets through the doors at GSG over the years but we haven’t come across one quite like this before. It’s in nice condition overall with some light playwear but no paint chips etc. No issues, straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No probs whatsoever either electrically or structurally. Weight 3.3kg. A beautifully built Mustang from Fender Japan an likely a unique custom order. Like many of the more desirable Fender Japan rarities it’s a great investment and also a killer Mustang! I’m pretty sure we won’t get anything like this again so once it’s gone it’s gone. Complete with Mustang Hardcase in great condition with key.
