Here is a very cool '69 Reissue S-Serial CIJ (2005-2006) nitro refinish Fender Mustang. This really is a killer looking guitar. We are not sure of the exact origin but it was picked up in Japan. The nitrocellulose has worn in places and looks pretty cool. The competition stripes really pop. This would be a killer stage guitar. Aside from the refin it is itrue to the vintage Fender CIJ MG-69 spec, with the '69 contoured body, 7.25 radius rosewood fingerboard, button tuners, 3-ply pickguard and 'F' stamped neckplate. It plays like a dream too, very resonant with plenty of Mustang attitude. It's has Seymour Duncan pickups dropped in which really give it some bite! There have been no breaks or repairs. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Weight is 3.1kg. There are plenty of little bumps, dimples & scratches in the paint on the body and around the edges. Complete with cool vintage Japanese leatherette softcase and a threaded 5mm tremolo arm which just drops in and tightens just like a regular unthreaded arm. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan and finish-modded to hell and back! Grab it while you can!
