Fender Japan Discontinued Ltd FSR Alder Body Maple Jazzmaster Traditional 60's
Here we have a beautiful Fender Japan FSR (Factory Special Run) Piano Black 60’s traditional Alder Jazzmaster with block inlays and neck binding. It has a superb quality gloss black alder body and a very cool distinctive looking bound Indian rosewood fingerboard (pics). You also get narrow tall frets and a 42mm bone nut, with USA made CTS pots, Switchcraft switches and USA Fender plastic parts. The headstock sports a Pre-CBS style "Spaghetti" Jazzmaster logo, with Kluson-style tuning machines which turn smoothly and hold pitch well. All the plastics are aged white and the 4-ply red tort scratchplate still has its clear protective film covering. The weight is nice and light at 3.5kg. Only this limited special run was given the alder body, neck binding and perloid block inlays. The condition is unplayed and very clean with no notable blemishes. Some nice looking maple grain all over the headstock and neck. Complete with booklet, tools, tremolo arm and original Fender branded softcase. No more are being built and we will not be offering them again so be quick! All pictures are of actual guitar.
