Fender Japan 2005 Telecaster 1962 Custom RI w/ Bigsby Old Lake Placid Blue

Here is a very rare model for Fender Japan.  Absolutely top of the line Old Lake Placid Blue Fender 62' RI custom Telecaster 2004-05. This is one of only three factory OLB TL62B-TX we’ve had in at GSG; it’s pretty tough finding a Bigsby equipped '62 custom in this finish. Double bound, alder body with factory fitted B-5 Bridge & Fender Bigsby. It's got huge sounding USA Texas Special pups & a cool cream-green 3-ply pickguard. It’s a Fender Japan CIJ S-Serial from 2005-2006. This is as good as it gets for Fender Japan Telecasters. This has an amber tinted solid U profile maple neck on the slightly thicker side for a TL62b and the fingerboard is beautiful dark 7.25 radius slab of Indian rosewood. The white body binding is starting to age into a really nice vintage cream which looks superb against the OLB, very 1950’s! No issues electrically or structurally. Neck fine, frets fine, truss rod fine. The weight comes in at 4kg. Being from 2005 it is not new & not mint but but not horrendous with some little pimples here and there and a small nick on the back, all visible in the pics. Comes with Telecaster hardcase and key which is in as new condition. This is an absolute beast of a Tele. Don't miss it, once it’s gone it’s gone.
