Fender Japan 1990's Jaguar 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial Olympic White Alder/Rosewoo

Here's a cool old factory finished Fender Olympic White Jaguar. It’s a CIJ O Serial from the 1997-2000 period. It looks awesome with the Oly white yellowing to more of a vintage white. It has a resonant alder body & light/dark grained slab of rosewood for the fingerboard. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels very nice to play. It has its original factory fitted deep red tort 3-ply pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weight is 3.9kg. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. No breaks, repairs or routing. No significant mods aside from strap pins & a Mustang barrel bridge which has been dropped in for added string stability, a good mod. It’s been played so is not mint. It’s a bit of a warrior with plenty of little little paint chips around the edges of the body. Not surprising as it’s a great player. Why anyone would choose a sterile Mexican Jag over the best built Jaguar you'll find outside of the custom shop (this would have been built for Fender at Tokai or Dyna Gakki) I just don't get. Anyway, all in all it's a beautifully put together Jag from Fender Japan. Plenty of playwear so avoid if you like shiny new pristine guitars. Complete with its tremolo arm and a a big thick padded soft case. If you are looking for a great vintage looking Fender Jag you won't find a better built machine than this.
