Fender Japan 1969 Reissue Mustang CIJ Sonic Blue

Here is a very cool vintage specification '69 reissue Fender Mustang. It’s an mis 2000's Fender built warrior (CIJ S-Serial 2005) factory finished in Sonic Blue (now definitely Surf Green!) Has a poplar body with maple neck and a nice 7.25 vintage radius rosewood fingerboard. What a machine this is! Plays and sounds great and looks very cool. It has a very easy action with the dark rosewood fingerboard complimented by a killer red tort 3-ply pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks, repairs or routing. Structurally and electrically fine. Weight is 3.4kg. As you’d expect from the era it has plenty of natural ageing going on. A natural patina on the metal hardware, some scuffing on the pickguard light discoloration and some little paint chips/bumps/scuffs etc around the edges. It all adds to the mojo going on with this one. Has had a pair of very cool black vintage Fender Japan witch-hat knobs fitted. Has a replacement 5mm threaded white tipped tremolo arm (just drops in & tightens as usual). Complete with vintage 1980's Japanese Fender branded softcase, zips working. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A killer old 1969 vintage specification reissue Mustang.
