Fender Custom Shop Esquire Blackguard 1991 Blonde w/ Hardcase

Up for here we have this very cool vintage 1991 Fender Custom Shop Blackguard 1959 Reissue Esquire. It features a Swamp Ash body with nitrocellulose lacquer and a thick maple neck. Weight 3.5kg. Showing plenty of natural ageing and looks pretty good for it. There is some finish checking, the e tuner is slightly bent, there is wear around the edges, the 'Esquire' headstock decal has partially worn off and the original Fender case is nice and roadworn but has all latches working. It plays beautifully as you'd expect. A beautiful easy action with lots of bite when dialled in. Neck straight Truss rod turning, plenty of life in the frets. All metal wear lightly and the nitrocellulose finish has dulled over the decades. Complete with original Custom Shop hardcase and chrome ashtray cover. No other docs. All in all and absolutely killer 1991 Fender Custom Shop Esquire.
