Beautiful Vintage 2000 Gibson ES 335 Dot Cherry Yamano Order w/ OHSC & Docs

Here is a beautiful 24-year old holy grail era Yamano Japan ES 335 Dot. It’s fully original just as it came out of Gibson’s Nashville factory back in 2000 and is in lovely condition for such an old Gibson. Although built in the USA like all Gibson guitars, this one was especially selected for export to Japan by Yamano. It was purchased directly from Japan by GSG recently and is complete with Japanese Yamano booklet. Rest assured this is a genuine Yamano. It has a beautiful subtly figured Cherry flametop. It’s ageing very well and becoming a real vintage looker. Factory fitted grovers have taken on a dull grey patina and are working fine, stays in tune for days. The neck and body binding has turned a really nice off white almost yellow now. Neck is dead straight truss rod checked and functioning fine, plenty of life left in the frets, never re-fretted so fret ends still have their binding. No big nasty paint chips and nothing bad has ever happened to it. Just some general playwear commensurate with its age. The only modification is the humbuckers which have been upgraded to a pair of British made Bare Knuckle Mules. They sound fantastic as you'd expect. There have been no other modifications, and no breaks or repairs. Plays and sounds great, super resonant unplugged with a great action.  Has a comfortable slightly thinner 60's profile neck. Nicely balanced & weighs in at 4kg on our postal scales. It is complete with its original Japanese Yamano booklet and tan, pink-lined Gibson OHSC with silk shroud. Case is functioning fine, latches working fine & combi lock working fine. I’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story. A wonderful old ES 335 dot.
