Vintage Fender Japan Mid 1980's FujiGen TLM 55R Ash Telecaster MIJ
Nice vintage Fender Japan TLM 55R Telecaster. This old warror was built at the legendary FujiGen Gakki in Japan between 1984-1987 (MIJ E-Serial) for Fender. It is the scarce rosewood fretboard model and has some cool specs including a really nicely grained ash body, maple neck and dark slab Indian rosewood fingerboard (9.5 radius), gotoh tuners and 4 bolt micro tilt neck plate. It’s a very cool looking Tele well along the road to being a real vintage looker. The ash body, neck & headstock have some really cool ash and maple grain showing (pics). The neck is quite thin and feels comfortable. It's dead straight, truss rod fine, and still plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. Good solid ash Tele weight at 3.9kg. It's had a replacement bridge pick-up at some point over it’s 40-year lifespan but it sounds fine. Has all the playwear you would associate with such an old Tele. Lots of bumps & scrapes etc. A very cool old Tele. It is complete with gig bag. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
