Vintage 80's Fender FujiGen Oly White 1970s RI Stratocaster Left handed to Right
Nicely aged old Olympic White Fender ’72 RI Stratocaster built at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan during 1985-86 (MIJ A-Serial). It’s a left-handed model that’s been restringed to a right-handed guitar including nut re-alignment. It’s been done right and plays beautifully. It also looks pretty damn cool, but maybe that’s to Kurt fan inside of me. Anyway, these old FujiGen Fender 70s Strats are awesome guitars with a fantastic feel and tone. This one really is a dream to play. It has the large resonant headstock with black logo, bullet truss rod, 3-bolt stampled steel neckplate and cream single ply pickguard. The rosewood fingerboard shows a good tight grain. The maple neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and still plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. It’s starting to yellow nicely, giving it a real vintage feel, no fake relicing here. The maple neck & headstock have also darkened over the decades & look great. No breaks or repairs. The strap pin has obviously been switched from the top horn to the bottom to facilitate to the switch to right handed. No plastic backplate. Not seeing much of the playwear you would associate with such an old FujiGen Strat. A few bumps & scrapes here & there but nothing nasty, no paint chips, just good vintage ageing. Complete with gig-bag and tremolo arm (lefty) A very cool old ’70’s RI Strat. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
