Vintage 1991 Gibson Les Paul Ebony Custom w/ OHSC Japanese Yamano Import w/ Docs

£3,795.00Price

Beautiful early 1990s grunge-era Yamano Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. Built at Gibson's USA Nashville plant on 7th March 1991. Of course being from the 1990’s good wood-era it has a proper Ebony fingerboard, not the richlite Gibson have used in recent times. It’s in great condition for a ‘91 with absolutely no breaks, repairs or mods. It is all factory spec and weighs in at 4.7kg. It has a 3 piece maple top and mahogany body with beautiful mother of pearl inlays set in the Ebony fingerboard. All gold hardware and great sounding '57 classic humbuckers. Never been refretted so still has its fret-end binding (nibs). It is a Yamano import. Worth reading up on these if you’re not already familier… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they ordered from Gibson due to the volume they imported to Japan. They therefore had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. This is one such guitar. It is a true Yamano having actually made it to Japan, where we found it.  This beautiful custom is in fine condition with no mods, breaks or repairs. No structural or electrical issues. Truss rod fine, neck dead straight and plenty of life left in the frets. One of the things I love about this one is how the binding has yellowed with age giving it black/yellow vintage look. Plenty of wear as you'd expect for over 30 years old, but nothing nasty or ugly. Obviously never had any breaks or repairs. Has taken on a lovely vintage vibe over the decades with some wear to the nitrocellulose and some cool looking finish checking, especially on the headstock. Comes with Japanese Yamano certificate with printed serial number and original Gibson booklet. Complete with original tan pink-lined Gibson HSC with shroud still attached. Combi lock & all latches working. This is a stunning looking and playing vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom.

We carefully hand-select all our guitars and refuse a lot more than we accept, if they don’t blow us away on all fronts, we just don’t put them in our shop; if it’s for sale by Gas Station Guitars, you know it’d gonna be pretty special.  All pictures are of actual guitar, we do not use stock photos. NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the E.U, Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia, NZ and of course the UK.
