Very Rare Vintage 1982-84 JV Serial Fender Jazzmaster '66 RI FujiGen Sunburst MI

Up for grabs is one of the holy grails of Japanese offset collecting, a JV serial Fender Japan Jazzmaster, built at FujiGen between 1982 and 1984.  This is before Jazzmasters were remotely popular & there are very few JVs in existence. Kevin Shield’s (My Bloody Valentine) Jazzmaster is apparently a JV. Whatever, the build quality of this thing is superb and it has what look like U.S. pickups as stock. It looks awesome too with a good looking vintage sunburst and it's remarkably clean for such an early example. The JV serial is stamped on the neckplate. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels great to play. It’s complete with original tort FujiGen pickguard. No problems at all, straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. It looks all original. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. Weight is 3.8kg. Obviously it’s 40 years old now so not mint, but pretty clean for the age with just two or three little paint nicks and general playwear. No breaks, repairs, routing etc. This beautifully built Jazzmaster, one of Fender Japan’s earlier ever, has aged into a really nice vintage guitar. Complete with original trem-arm and old Japanese HSC (all latches working). NOT FOR TRADE or part exchange, thanks. We ship to the U.S, Canada, Australia, Europe and of course the UK.
